Class Starting Tuesday 15th April 2008

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry it's is a bit late, but this is to let you know what we did in the last class (first class of the term):

Ahmed gave us a text to study from the bbcarabic.com site. Its title is (in translation) "Is Democracy Suited to the Middle East?". The article, which was published at 11.11 GMT on 2008/03/06 is probably still on the site, though I haven't checked it. If I can find the reference to the article later, I will post it.

The other thing that Ahmed gave us was the vocabulary from chapter 8 in the book. Next lesson we are going to be studying the text on page 248 - 249.
